Professional Qualification for Civil Engineers: Roads to Chartership & Advice for the Dynamics Specialists

Synopsis

In this Young SECED event, Alison Jones (ICE) and Mark Scorer (Atkins) have been invited to provide guidance on how to become a chartered civil engineer. Recognizing that individuals who work in the field of dynamics often have a diverse educational background and professional experience, Alison Jones will discuss the different routes to chartership, including the European route. Subsequently, Mark Scorer will share his experience as SCE at Atkins, presenting common challenges that individuals face whilst preparing for Chartership and giving practical advice on how to tackle those.

Although this event targets individuals who work or study in the field of dynamics, it can benefit any engineer on their path towards ICE Chartership.
