Site Visit to Servotest

Synopsis

The SECED Young Members’ Subcommittee and Servotest are delighted to invite SECED members to a site visit at Servotest’s facilities in Egham, Surrey, on 11 June 2026.

Servotest is a specialist supplier of innovative servo-hydraulic testing and simulationsolutions. Founded in 1958, the company designs and manufactures bespoke equipment fordemanding applications across industries including civil engineering, aerospace, andautomotive. Servotest is a leader in seismic simulation, developing multi-axis shake tablesand structural testing systems that support research into  earthquake engineering and structural resilience worldwide.

Programme

The site visit will begin with participants meeting at Egham Train Station, followed by transport to Servotest. Upon arrival, attendees will take part in a guided tour of the facilities, offering insight into the company’s testing and simulation capabilities. The tour will be followed by a lunch break, after which there will be a series of technical presentations delivered by Servotest engineers. After the formal programme, participants are invited to continue discussions over informal networking drinks near Egham Train Station.

Registration

This event is open only to SECED members, including individual members and employees of corporate members (whether officially a named representative or not), and is free to attend, but registration is required. Please sign up by filling this form.

Only 30 places are available, and these will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

• Transport: Transportation will be provided between Egham train station to the Servotest and back. 
• Lunch Break: Lunch will be provided at Servotest during the break. Attendees are welcome to bring their own lunch if they have special dietary requirements or allergies.
