The Society for Earthquake and Civil Engineering Dynamics (SECED) is delighted to announce the SECED 2027: Engineering for a Dynamic Future' Conference.
This two-day conference, entitled Engineering for a Dynamic Future, will take place on 8–9 July 2027 in Bristol, UK. The conference will be held at the new Temple Quarter University of Bristol campus and it will bring together researchers, practitioners, and industry professionals from across Earthquake Engineering and Civil Engineering Dynamics. The SECED 2027 Conference will be co-chaired by Flavia De Luca, Professor of Structural and Earthquake Engineering at the University of Bristol, Fabio Freddi, Associate Professor of Structural Engineering at UCL Dept of Civil, Environmental & Geomatic Engineering and Christian Málaga-Chuquitaype, Reader in Structural Dynamics and Seismic Engineering at Imperial College London.
The SECED 2027 Conferrence programme reflects the multidisciplinary nature of earthquake engineering and dynamics, spanning seismic hazard, geotechnical and structural engineering, assessment and retrofit, infrastructure resilience, artificial intelligence, risk and catastrophe modelling, earthquake reconnaissance, and community recovery.
