Society for Earthquake and Civil Engineering Dynamics
This evening meeting will consider the significance of liquefaction in earthquake disasters. A full synopsis will be available soon.
Robert Muir-Wood is head of research at the world's largest catastrophe modelling company, RMS, and a visiting professor at UCL's Institute for Risk and Disaster Reduction. A lead author on climate and catastrophe risk for two IPCC reports, his expertise is sought worldwide.
This evening meeting will be chaired by Chris Browitt (ABConsulting). Non-members of the society are welcome to attend. Attendance at the meeting is free. The meeting will take place online via Microsoft Teams*. A link will be posted here closer to the event.
