SECED members are being encouraged to support two engineering-related charities working in the earthquake-hit regions of Turkey and Syria. SARAID [Search And Rescue Assistance In Disasters] has deployed volunteers directly to the area, while RedR UK ensures that people responding to disasters have the skills to do so safely and effectively.
